This place is beautifully renovated and located in a peaceful area with a beach nearby, and the Happy House takeout specials were conveniently close by.

Owners are attentive, providing umbrellas during rain. Fabulous location, close to town with stunning views. Comfortable room, amazing breakfast. Personal touches such as fruit and flowers. Better than hotels, a real treat!

As young families, we loved the friendly hosts and their accommodating nature. the fantastic breakfast and clean rooms were a delight. the manor house, filled with history, created a charming atmosphere. the surrounding area was beautiful, and we can't wait to return when the weather improves.

We were so pleased with our stay at this charming manor house in Rye. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, and the decor exuded a sense of old-world elegance. The delicious breakfast options, including a mouthwatering full English and delightful pastries, were a great way to start our days. We were also impressed by the rich history of the house and wished we had more time to explore the beautiful surroundings. Despite having to go home, we are already looking forward to returning when the weather is better.

This hotel is the epitome of luxury and spared no expense in providing exclusive amenities. the room was exquisitely decorated with tasteful art, plush linens, and elegant furniture. We indulged in an amazing massage that left us feeling rejuvenated. the garden area with its sun loungers, picnic tables, and stunning sun terrace made us feel like royalty.

Our only minor issue was the lack of BBQ facilities, as we had hoped to enjoy a cookout. But overall, this did not detract from our luxurious experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Saltcote Place! The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful furnishings and well-maintained grounds. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was special, even offering suggestions for dining and activities in the area. The breakfasts were magnificent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The little touches, like umbrellas outside our room and complimentary chocolates, made us feel so well taken care of. The quiet nights and comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and having a large television in the room was a nice bonus. We truly felt like one in a million staying at Saltcote Place.

our honeymoon stay at rye was incredible, but the experience at saltcote place surpassed all expectations. the owners made us feel so welcome, and the beautiful room and house felt like home. the breakfast was superb with a wide variety of options and the views were breathtaking. we can't wait to return.

Great view from the room and amazing breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to visit in town. The location was perfect as it was only a short walk away from the center of town and had easy access to public transportation.

The room was quite small, and the bathroom was not very clean. The decor was outdated, and the furniture looked old and worn out.

Great experience at an amazing location! the hosts were excellent, offering us a warm and friendly welcome. We loved the fact that they had so many recommendations for dining and leisure activities. we had a lovely room that was well-appointed with everything we needed, including a fantastic breakfast. Plus, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the convenience of being able to walk to nearby shops and attractions.
