Can't recommend highly enough for a brief sojourn

Excellent room, attentive hosts, where our comfy Beautiful King Room featured evening whisky nightcaps and the good breakfast was prepared with great quality ingredients to start our day right.

Everything was just perfect.

Paul and alan are the best hosts ever. Breakfast was to die for, seriously amazing with the best sausage around. We loved chillin in the beautiful gardens with fine views, perfect for morning coffee. Walking to rye town was easy too, found some great spots to eat!

Only downside was the small parking area, sometimes a bit tight. Wished the wi-fi was a lil faster.

I was appalled by the noise from the birds. It was impossible to relax and enjoy the stay when loud avians were constantly chirping. Paying a premium for a suite and having to deal with that is unacceptable.

It was just a decent option for a brief stopover in Rye with very nice value for money. The views took my breath away and made the stay nice. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful surroundings for a peaceful experience.

The breakfast was excellent, and I appreciated the hosts accommodating my request for soya milk in my coffee. They also stored our luggage on the final day while we visited the beach, made everything easier. As a family with children, this consideration.

Really good grounds, but resident avians could use silencer features.

The historic hotel was a good escape! Staying in the Beautiful King Room, I soaked in nice views over the salt marshes. The breakfast was a grand affair, crafted with such care and even included a glass of champagne, a perfect way to start the day!

What a trip! The place is perched high with fine views of the salt marshes. Our room was super comfy, and we loved the nightly whisky waiting for us. Paul and Alan made breakfast a highlight with the best sausages! A bit tricky to find parking, but worth every moment. Definitely a unique stay!

We enjoyed drinks on the terrace with fine views and a nice Black Tie Dinner. The staff's attentiveness. Opt for the Half English if you're not too hungry. Don't miss Alan's entertaining performance during the wedding festivities.

The Beautiful King Room was luxurious with a comfortable bed, elegant decor, and a spacious seating area. Every evening, a whiskey nightcap was thoughtfully left outside our door. The location provided amazing views over the salt marshes and Camber Sands. The breakfasts were fine, with fresh fruits, full English options, and delicious barista coffee served with care.

The hosts, paul and alan, were very good. The grounds are beautiful, and the breakfast was magnificent. We loved the close proximity to the wedding breakfast venue, made everything so convenient.
